The University aims to train medical professionals who understand "integrated medicine" combining the Eastern/Western medicine with preventive medicine and pursue these concepts in society.

Saitama Campus is equipped with a Department of Pharmacy (6-year course) and three courses of "Health Pharmacy", "Chinese herbal Medicine" and "Medical Pharmacy". The education aims at fostering pharmacists who understand and pursue the concept of "integrated medicine" by the comprehensive view of preventive medicine, presymptomatic disease and medical care. Department of Medical Business Pharmaceutical Science (Sports Pharmaceutical Science) (4-year course) is established to aim at training personnel involved in athletic development in the sports industry.

The medical setting focuses on the idea of "team medical care" serving high-quality medicine in mutual cooperation with a variety of experts, which we incorporate small-group discussion (SGD) into education for improvement of student's communication skill.

Well-developed educational support system are featured in the University. It consists of a correspondence education before admission, a basic achievement test after admission and exercise lessons of Pharmacy implemented for the first through the third year. Other educational support including a program corresponding to individual achievement level and a question room are also available.

We back up students in both study and daily life and attempt to achieve the precise education in cooperation with guardians and students such as arranging a personal conference if required.

• Sports Pharmaceutical Science Course---Offers systematical education of expertize in medical products and food related to sports including Chinese herbal medicine, health food as well as doping, and its effect on the body.
